Hi, sorry, what is supposed to happen in here?

if there are rules, i think it must be that anons are supposed to write an au based on a book, movie, manga, or something similar and not name it, and other anons have to guess.

Donghae first meets him on Platform 9¾, when he almost runs him over with his trolley as soon as he passes the barrier. He’s not much to look at; small, skinny, robes a tad too big for him, and Donghae would like to say something but before he can his brother has grabbed him by the cuff of the collar and is dragging him away into the train, complaining about how mum had packed him the wrong sandwiches and he didn’t want corned beef, why don’t you have it?

He meets Siwon when he’s trawling for a compartment (or a compartment with familiar faces - he knows Jaejoong from Tiddlybottom and Junsu from Four Lakes were both starting this year) and he comes from the opposite direction. He’s tall and quite good-looking for an eleven year old, but Donghae’s eyes are drawn to his eyebrows, which were creased in the center and freakishly big.

“Excuse me, my name’s Choi Siwon, I’m really sorry about this but have you seen a land turtle, by any chance? It’s just that my friend Jongwoon has lost one and I think he’s quite upset about it.”

“No,” Donghae says. “Is there-”

He doesn’t get any further than that. The train jolts and his hands scrabble on the wall for balance. The person inside the compartment next to him isn’t quite so lucky, however, as he hits the door full blast, face squashed and lips puckered. Donghae observes him with some interest until he realises that Siwon’s attempting to get past him and into the compartment. Siwon’s down on the floor as soon as he manages it open, patting the boy and attempting to sit him up. It takes a few moments for Donghae to realize that it was the boy he had run over before, and as Siwon attempts to sit him up, he spots the faint scar on his forehead.

“Oh,” Siwon breathes as the boy shifts in his arms. ”Oh. He’s Hyukjae.”
